Assembly Winter 2016, taking place at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre, started earlier today and the group stage is now finished. LDLC Blue and ENCE were the first teams to advance to the playoff stage.

The tournament has eight participating teams: four invited and four qualified teams. ENCE, LDLC White, RCTIC (replacing Vexed because they couldn't attend the event) and Orgless (originally invited as CSGO.one before leaving the organisation and later signing for PixelFire, even though that didn't last very long) were the four invited.

Millenium, CPH Wolves, Epiphany Bolt and LDLC Blue later qualified for the event.

The group stage draw determined that RCTIC, Orgless, CPH Wolves and LDLC Blue would play in Group A. LDLC White, ENCE, Millenium and Epiphany Bolt would face each other in Group B.
